The Bar / Retail Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures - Manage and train bar staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within the food industry - Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems - Strong cash handling skills and ability to reconcile cash register at the end of each shift - Excellent knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and mixology techniques - Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment - Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance and support when needed - Strong time management skills to ensure efficient operations during peak hours - Knowledge of food handling regulations and ability to enforce proper hygiene practices Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
